2013 Georgia Engineers Summer Conference

Dear Georgia Engineers and Friends,

It is a pleasure to invite you to join your professional colleagues at the Georgia Engineers Summer Conference.  The conference at Hammock Beach in 2012 met our expectations - more than 200 attendees participated in professional development, networking, family time, fun, and feeling really good about being an engineer.

I'm excited that the conference in 2013 will exceed our expectations!  We have an impressive program planned, beginning with an opening session on the state of economy, the state of engineering and the state of education in Georgia, followed by professional presenters who will provide you with knowledge and technical skills on how to succeed in these turbulent economic times.

I look forward to seeing you at the Lodge & Spa at Callaway Gardens, enjoying our time together, and guaranteeing that we will plant the seeds for success for Georgia engineers!

Golf Tournament Description 
18-hole Lake View Golf Course was renovated in 2002 and is Callaway's original course.  Cason Callaway himself provided the inspiration for Lake View's layout.  Mr. Callaway believe that playing golf should be a pleasant experience in beautiful surroundings. Lake View's challenge lies in its nine water holes and its landscaping of azaleas, dogwoods and seasonal flowers.  The 6,031-yard par 70 course is well known for hole number 10 with its island tee and serpentine bridge over Mountain Creek Lake to the green in front of the original clubhouse.
